Mobile RV Service
Your RV's appliances make it a home on wheels. When the refrigerator stops cooling, the furnace won't ignite, or the stove won't light, you need a technician who understands the unique demands of RV appliance repair. AM Mobile RV Service repairs all major RV appliances at your location.
RV appliances operate differently than residential ones — they run on LP gas, 12V DC, or 120V AC (sometimes all three). They're built lighter, vibrate during travel, and must function in varying altitudes and temperatures. We understand these differences and carry the specialized parts and tools for proper RV appliance repair.
Dometic, Norcold — absorption cooling system repair, control board replacement, LP gas valve service, residential fridge conversions
Suburban, Atwood — igniter replacement, sail switch repair, blower motor service, thermostat wiring, LP pressure testing
Burner repair, thermocouple replacement, igniter service, gas valve adjustment, oven calibration
Splendide, Westland — pump replacement, belt service, vent cleaning, control board diagnostics
Refrigerator not cooling on LP gas — burner tube cleaning, thermocouple, or gas valve replacement
Norcold showing 'No Co' error — control board replacement or cooling unit assessment
Furnace cycling on and off — sail switch adjustment, blower motor, or limit switch repair
Furnace igniting but no heat — duct inspection, blower wheel cleaning, heat exchanger check
Stove burners won't light — piezo igniter replacement, gas valve service, orifice cleaning
Water heater pilot won't stay lit — thermocouple replacement, gas pressure testing
Washer/dryer not spinning — belt replacement, motor brushes, or control board diagnosis
LP gas smell near appliances — leak detection, fitting tightening, regulator testing
At AM Mobile RV Service, we believe in repairing what can be repaired. A $75 thermocouple replacement shouldn't turn into a $1,500 new water heater sale. We diagnose the actual problem, give you an honest assessment, and let you make the decision. If a repair costs more than 60% of a replacement and the unit is near end-of-life, we'll tell you — but the choice is always yours.
That said, some RV appliances have known failure points that indicate the end of their service life. Norcold and Dometic absorption refrigerators with ammonia leaks (yellow residue on the back) typically need replacement rather than repair. We'll always explain the situation clearly so you can make an informed decision about your RV's appliances.
We stock common parts like thermocouples, igniters, control boards, and gas valves on our service truck, so many appliance repairs can be completed in a single visit without waiting for parts to ship.
